The left and the right or the centre left and the centre right spent about the same on travel in the same period of time but Treasury got its sums wrong and set off an orgy of envy. Why are we such a mean spirited lot. I for one don't want the country's PM regardless of political colour travelling down the back of the plane. I want our leader to arrive refreshed. alert, ready to go and looking like the leader of a real country and not a bemused, jet lagged, half suffocated, cramped poor sucker on a once in a lifetime's holiday which is the only reason I could think of to put up with what we ordinary folk have to put up with flying across the world on our national carrier.
Get over yourself people.
We did not elect a PM to be tortured.
