On Chris Laidlaw Nat Rad this morning Larry Baldock, Beth Wood and Sue Bradford debated the merits of the kiddie bashing referendum. We have heard the arguments over and over but what we haven't heard is the curious self defeating argument of its major proponent. Beth Wood and Sue Bradford argued that there was less child abuse because of changing attitudes. Baldock argued that the change was because parents were fearful of the new law. Right on Larry. Thats why we have it.
